In the short time that we've been blogging, we've already talked about the coming public health catastrophe threatening America from Alzheimer's disease. There was an interesting article in today's New York Times' Health Section, noting the 100th birthday of President Ronald Reagan and talking about some of the difficulties doctors face detecting the on-set of Alzheimer's disease. It is interesting history and a reminder of how important it is that we do all we can to develop both more effective treatments and diagnostic tools.
