PPA: Spread the word

PPA-Logo_initials.pngChances are you’ve heard a friend or loved one talk about their difficulty with affordable access to their medicines at the pharmacy. Maybe even you have struggled yourself. But the Partnership for Prescription Assistance – or PPA – is committed to helping.

PPA was created as a free and confidential program over a decade ago by America’s biopharmaceutical research companies. With an easy-to-use website and a new mobile app, patients have a single point of access to 475 public and private assistance programs, including nearly 200 offered by biopharmaceutical companies. Together, these programs offer access to more than 2,500 brand-name and generic prescription medicines, giving patients options.

But this information can only help patients if they know about the resources available to them. That’s why we need to spread the word.

Since its launch in 2005, PPA has helped connect nearly 10 million people with public and private patient assistance programs that provide prescription medicines for free or nearly free. So tell your family and friends. Spread the word on social media like Facebook or Twitter. With your help, even more patients will learn about programs that can help them live longer, healthier lives.
